Gordon & Jessica

Our Story...

In a far away land where parents leave their children in hopes of a higher education, Gordon & Jessica meet at a party that neither wanted to attend.  It was a quick hi & a nice to meet you too, then a look in the other direction.  This was no love at first sight fairy tale.  The night ended with a random picture in an elevator as we departed to our respected homes. 

The girls were looking for the festivities at NC A&T Homecoming so Jessica befriended Gordon on facebook (or was it the other way around?? Oh well thats neither here nore there!)  So eventually they exchanged numbers, only on a friend basis, nothing more!  They ended up doing their own thing that night & having a blast.  

In the weeks that followed Gordon started to have a feeling that something was missing from his life.  He went through his phone & decided to text none other than Jessica herself.  Soon texts became good morning texts, those became phone calls.  Phone calls became dates.  January 20, 2010 was a day that sealed the deal. Jessica was ready to give love one more try.  Gordon made promise to her that he would never hurt her & always put their relationship and her feelings first.  The next three years to follow were interesting.  Learning so much about each other, their families, their likes & dislikes, also including the quirky antics of Jessica.  Gordon decided that this was the woman that he could not live without.  The woman he wanted to kiss good night & kiss good morning for the rest of his life.  Feburary 25, 2013 was the day that neither will forget.  Top deck of the cruise ship, Miami skyline with the sunset as the back drop, he got on one knee & asked her the marry him! YES! YES she exclaimed!! Also while laughing hysterically.
